West Coast Convo Appears on “Talkin’ Hoops” with Jim Basnight

I am pleased to announce that I was a guest speaker on an online radio show to talk about Gonzaga basketball among other things. For those that don’t know, the show is called “Talkin’ Hoops” with Jim Basnight, and it primarily focuses on Northwest college basketball teams, such as Washington, Washington State, and of course the Zags. Below is a rough breakdown of how things went on tonight’s show.

New Gonzaga commit Josh Perkins was the first topic of discussion. I gave my thoughts on his play, his immediate impact, and what it will do for the program.
We ran through the Gonzaga roster and which players will fit where on the 2013-2014 roster.
The upcoming power struggle between BYU and Gonzaga was debated, which also included a brief breakdown of how these two teams match up as well.
I was asked on who I thought would be the top four finishers in the WCC this season.
We touched on the impact of transfers at Gonzaga, and in college basketball in general.
Lastly, we touched on how special the 2014-2015 Bulldogs could be.
