Several teams that feature former WCC players played today to land a spot in the Las Vegas Summer League tournament quarterfinals. Here is how they did today.

Matthew Dellavedova

The former Saint Mary’s point guard led the Cavaliers in assists with 4 in their 72-66 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Dellavedova also got the start at the point guard position today. He struggled offensively, but the Cavs still got the W when it was all said and done.

Josh Heytvelt

In 10 minutes of action, Heytvelt recorded 2 rebounds, and 6 fouls in the Cavaliers victory. Not a huge impact from the former Gonzaga center.

Elias Harris

The German forward had another productive day for the Los Angeles Lakers summer league team. Harris scored 4 points and corralled 8 rebounds in the 72-68 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Harris is performing very well in the Las Vegas summer league, and is putting himself in the best position possible to make an NBA roster.

Robert Sacre

Big Rob, as he is often referred to as, had his best performance of the summer league today. Sacre scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the Lakers victory. He also had 1 assist, 1 steal, and a blocked shot in the contest.

Drew Viney

The former LMU standout had 0 points and 2 rebounds in the Lakers victory over the Bucks today.

Micah Downs

Downs had one of his better shooting days today in the Raptors 95-78 victory over the Denver Nuggets. The former Gonzaga Bulldog had 12 points and 3 rebounds in the win.

Luke Sikma

The former Portland Pilot standout scored 2 points and snagged 1 rebound in the Minnesota Timberwolves loss to the D-League Select.

Mychel Thompson

Thompson struggled immensely in the T-Wolves 83-75 loss to the D-League select team. Thompson failed to score a single point, despite taking 2 shots, and contributed nothing to the stat sheet other than a personal foul.
