West Coast Convo NEEDS New Writers

The offseason is among us, and West Coast Convo is looking to hire some new staff writers. For the last month or so, I have been running a one-man operation over here, and I want to cover each school more extensively and cover other sports other than just basketball. I cannot do this alone, so I am looking for a staff of writers that can effectively cover all aspects the West Coast Conference at a high level.

Staff Writer- BYU

Staff Writer- LMU

Staff Writer- Pacific

Staff Writer- Portland

Staff Writer- Saint Mary’s

Staff Writer- San Diego

Staff Writer- USF

Staff Writer- San Diego

Staff Writer- Santa Clara 

Since I am attending Gonzaga University next year, I will be covering Gonzaga primarily, as well as breaking news around the conference. However, I need writers to focus on the aforementioned schools.

Here are some things to expect while writing for a specific team:

Your writing will be more opinion and analysis base, rather than just stating news. Writing player evaluations, game recaps, breakdowns of the offense etc. will be what you will essentially be writing.
